(1971-1972)
HISTORY
Tumbril published its first issue on October 1, 1971. The Staff consisted of James Flint, Beryl Franklin, Thomas Ginnerty, Susan Hill, Ralph Lapham, Barby Lee, R.J. McCaffrey, Robert Rose, Marc Schillace, Lauren Shannon, Raye Shannon, and Bill Street.
Its mission was to capture the scene in Rhode Island as it was developing with articles concerning politics, education, music, art, theatre, films and events. They also covered some national issues that had universal effects on all of us. Tumbril lasted until May of 1972.
