This was an outstanding show inspired by the beautiful and historic setting at the Newport Folk Festival. The Brothers were set up outside the walls of Fort Adams (built in 1824) on the North lawn overlooking the bay and the bridge into Newport. It was a tight set with a fantastic old school version of "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" as well as a shortened (no drum solo) rendition of "Mtn. Jam" that sizzled. "Preachin' Blues" - a real rarity - was the highlight along with "The Weight" featuring special guest, Luther Dickinson, of the North Mississippi Allstars.
